We ventured to Topeka today to go see the boat and outdoor show. Besides the draw of getting to see (and drool over) a bunch of boats all under one roof, Phillip had heard that Liz from the tv show "Swamp People" was going to be there. Well, this just happens to be Noah's most favorite show, so of course we just had to go meet her. Seems like half of Topeka just had to meet her, too. The line was pretty long, but when we finially made it to the front she was nice enough to take a picture with her star struck fan :) She was super nice and even stayed longer then scheduled to get through everyone in line.
They also had a booth for kids to shoot BB guns
and bow and arrows

Awesome shot! The arrows on the ground didn't stick, it's a bit hard to see but his last one hit right in the center yellow circle.
Definitely a great day in the capital city!
As we were leaving town I snapped this picture from the car... thought it was cool that there is a statue of a bow shooter on top :)
Gramps is so jealous - boats, guns, and Lizbeth. It sounds like a fun day.

Oh, Big John would have stood in line with you to see LIZ! He loves Swamp People. I just shake my head and saythat "I love him anyway!"
